[엘더스크롤 4 : 오블리비언 for PS3] 퀘스트 : Paranoia [완료]

뒤늦게 오블리비언을 구매하여 플레이하고 있다. (아주 힘들게 구했다...)

이미 PC판으로는 비공식이지만 한글화 패치가 완료되어 한글로 쾌적하게 즐길 수 있지만, 콘솔은 그게 아닌지라...
오블리비언을 플레이하면서 영어 공부를 하고 있다.

어디 물어볼 곳도 마땅치 않고 하여 이곳에 적으니 틀리게 번역된 부분은 제가 배울 수 있도록 가르쳐주시면 감사하겠습니다.

실제 게임을 플레이하면서 저널이 업데이트된 순서대로 적는다.
주로 저널에 등록된 퀘스트의 내용만 적으며 간혹 NPC와의 대화 내용을 추가로 적는다.

I met a mysterious Wood Elf named Glarthir in Skingrad who asked me to meet him behind the Great Chapel at midnight tonight. He wouldn't tell me what it was about, but promised to make it worth my while.
Skingrad안에서 Glarthir라는 의문의 우드 엘프를 만났는데 그가 나에게 큰 예배당 뒤쪽에서 자정에 만나자고 했다. 그는 무엇 때문인지는 말하지 않았지만, 약속 장소에 나오면 후회하지 않을 거라고 약속했다.

Glarthir claims that there is a conspiracy against him among the people of Skingrad. He wouldn't say why, but implied that he knows secrets which powerful people want to keep quiet. I have agreed to help him determine whether he is being followed or watched, and he has promised to pay me 150 gold for my services.
Glarthirrk Skingrad의 몇몇 사람이 자신을 향해서 음모를 꾸미고 있다고 주장한다. 왜 그런지는 정확히 말하지 않았지만, 알아서는 안될 권력자들의 비밀을 알아서 그러는 것 같다고 그는 생각하고 있다. 그가 미행을 당하는 건지 감시를 당하는 것인지 알아보는 것을 돕기로 했다. 그리고 그는 나의 도움에 대한 대가로 150골드를 약속했다.

Glarthir believes that Bernadette Peneles is following him. I need to be outside his house at 6am and see what she does. He will then meet me behind the Great Chapel at midnight to get my report.
Glarthir는 Bernadette Peneles이 자신을 미행한다고 믿는다. 새벽 6시에 Bernadette Peneles의 집 밖에서 그녀가 무엇을 하는지 확인할 필요가 있다. Glarthir는 나의 보고를 듣기 위해 Great Chapel의 뒤로 나를 만나러 자정에 올 것이다.

I told Glarthir that Bernadette Peneles was not watching or following him. He was surprised but seemed to accept it as true.
Glarthir에게 Bernadette Peneles는 당신을 미행하거나 감시하지 않는다고 말했다. 그는 놀라면서도 사실을 인정하는 것 같았다.

Glarthir now wants me to observe the behavior of Toutius Sextius, another suspected member of the conspiracy against him. Glarthir said that if I waited outside Toutius Sextius's house this morning, I would see Toutius following him, and then could find out who Toutius was reporting to. At midnight I am to meet Glarthir in our usual spot behind the Great Chapel and tell him what I learned.
이제 Glarthir는 또 다른 용의자로 자신을 음해하려는 세력의 멤버 Toutius Sextius의 행동을 내가 감시하기를 원한다. Glarthir는 내가 Toutius Sextius의 아침에 집 밖에서 기다리면 Toutius가 자신을 미행하는 것을 보게 될 거라고 말했다. 그러고는 Toutius가 누구에게 보고하는지 찾을 수 있을 거라고 했다. 자정에 우리가 늘 만나는 Great Chapel의 뒤에서 Glarthir를 만나 내가 알아낸 것을 말해야 한다.

Dion, Captain of the Skingrad guard, warned me to not get involved with Glarthir, saying that he was crazy and possibly dangerous. He also asked me to contact him if Glarthir ever asked me to do anything strange.
Skingrad guard의 대장 Dion이 Glarthir는 미쳤고 매우 위험할 수 있다고 나에게 그와 엮이지 말라고 경고했다. 그리고 Dion은 만약 Glarthir가 언젠가 나에게 무슨 이상한 일을 부탁하면 자신에게 연락하라고 했다.

I told Glarthir that Toutius Sextius was not watching or following him. He was harder to convince this time, and seems to be starting to mistrust me now.
Glarthir에게 Toutius Sextius는 당신을 감시하거나 미행하지 않았다고 말했다. 이번에는 Glarthir가 어렵게 인정했고 이제 나까지 의심하기 시작하는 것 같다.

Glarthir has one final person for me to investigate. He believes that Davide Surilie is spying on his house. I should observe him for a day and then report back to Glarthir at midnight at our usual spot behind the Great Chapel.
Glarthir가 마지막으로 한 사람을 더 조사해달라고 한다. 그는 Davide Surilie가 Davide Surilie의 집에서 자신을 몰래 감시한다고 믿는다. Davide Surilie를 하루 동안 감시해야 한다. 그런 다음 자정에 우리가 늘 만나는 Great Chapel의 뒤에서 Glarthir에게 보고해야 한다.

Glarthir now believes that I am part of the conspiracy against him, and is trying to kill me! I have no choice but to defend myself.
Glarthir는 이제 나도 자신을 음해하려는 세력의 멤버로 믿고 나를 죽이려고 한다. 나 자신을 지키기 위해서는 다른 선택의 여지가 없다.

Glarthir is dead. My attempts to convince him that there was no conspiracy against him have ended in tragedy.
Glarthir는 죽었다. 그를 음해하려는 음모가 아니라고 설득하려는 나의 시도는 비극으로 끝났다.
