[엘더스크롤 4 : 오블리비언 for PS3] 퀘스트 : Taking Care of Lex [완료]

뒤늦게 오블리비언을 구매하여 플레이하고 있다. (아주 힘들게 구했다...)

이미 PC판으로는 비공식이지만 한글화 패치가 완료되어 한글로 쾌적하게 즐길 수 있지만, 콘솔은 그게 아닌지라...
오블리비언을 플레이하면서 영어 공부를 하고 있다.

어디 물어볼 곳도 마땅치 않고 하여 이곳에 적으니 틀리게 번역된 부분은 제가 배울 수 있도록 가르쳐주시면 감사하겠습니다.

실제 게임을 플레이하면서 저널이 업데이트된 순서대로 적는다.
주로 저널에 등록된 퀘스트의 내용만 적으며 간혹 NPC와의 대화 내용을 추가로 적는다.

S'krivva tells me that the Gray Fox is tired of Hieronymus Lex causing problems. He wants Lex removed once and for all. Countess Umbranox of Anvil is in need of a Captain of the Guard. She sent away for a list of recommendations from the Imperial Watch guard. I must create a forgery that recommends Lex and deliver it to her personally. The Gray Fox has a special interest in Countess Umbranox and has chosen Lex to be her protector. Very curious.
S'krivva는 Hieronymus Lex가 일으키는 문제들 때문에 Gray Fox가 피곤해 한다고 말했다. Gray Fox는 Lex를 완전히 제거하길 원한다. Anvil의 Umbranox 백작 부인은 경비 대장을 필요로 한다. 그녀는 Imperial의 경비대에 추천서를 의뢰했다. Lex를 추천하는 위조 추천서를 만들어서 그녀에게 직접 전달해야만 한다. Umbranox 백작 부인에게 Gray Fox가 특별한 관심이 있으며 그녀의 보호자로 Lex를 선택했다. 매우 흥미롭다.

First, I steal the letter from steward Dairihill's desk in Castle Anvil. Then get a forgery made. I have to find and pay for my own forger. Then seal it with the Imperial Watch seal from the legion commander's desk in the Imperial City. Dairihill cannot be trusted to deliver the letter. I must personally deliver the forged letter to Countess Umbranox of Anvil. I will be paid 500 gold, plus the cost of the forgery.
우선 Anvil 성에 있는 집사 Dairihill의 책상에서 편지를 훔친다. 그다음에 위조한다. 위조를 해줄 사람을 찾아서 의뢰해야만 한다. 그리고 나서 도시 Imperial에 있는 군대 사령관의 책상에서 Imperial 경비대 인장이 필요하다. Dairihill가 편지가 배달되는 것을 신뢰할 수 없다. 내가 직접 위조된 편지를 Anvil의 백작 부인 Umbranox에게 배달해야만 한다. 500골드와 사용한 위조 비용을 보상으로 받을 것이다.

I have learned that Dairihill's office is in the castle's private quarters, which is off limits. I should look for an indirect way to get in there.
성안의 출입 금지 구역에 Dairihill의 사무실이 있다고 들었다. 그곳에 들어갈 수 있는 다른 길을 찾아봐야 한다.

A beggar told me that there may be secret ways in the castle. I am supposed to find the blacksmith. I'm not really sure why.
한 거지가 성안의 비밀 통로가 있을 거라고 말했다. 대장장이를 찾아야 한다. 왜 대장장이를 찾아야 하는지는 잘 모르겠다.

Orrin has shown me a secret passage within the walls of Castle Anvil. It should let me get closer to Dairihill's office without being seen by the castle guards.
Orrin가 Anvil 성벽 안의 비밀 통로를 가르쳐줬다. 성의 경비병을 피해서 Dairihill의 사무실에 더 가까이 갈 수 있다.

I have the letter. Now I need to find a forger.
편지를 손에 넣었다. 이제 위조해줄 사람을 찾아야 한다.

My sources tell me that there is a master forger in Anvil. He is known only as The Stranger. He lives in a house by the Mages Guild.
나의 정보원이 노련한 위조자가 Anvil에 있다고 말해줬다. 그가 아는 건 단지 위조자가 낯선 사람이라는 것뿐이다. 위조자는 마법사 길드 옆에 있는 집에서 산다.

I delivered the letter to The Stranger. He said to return in a day and he would have the new letter ready. It's going to cost 500 gold coins.
편지를 위조자에게 전달했다. 그는 하루면 위조가 끝나 있을 것이니 나중에 다시 오라고 했다. 위조비용으로 500골드를 냈다.

The Stranger has forged a new letter for me. Now I have to go to the Imperial Legion compound in the Imperial City. I have to seal the letter using the official seal of the Legion Commander.
위조자는 나를 위해 새로운 편지를 위조했다. 이제 도시 Imperial 안에 있는 Imperial 군영으로 가야 한다. 군대 사령관의 공식 인장을 사용해서 편지에 인장을 찍어야 한다.

I've sealed the letter with the Legion Commander's seal. Now I must deliver it to Countess Umbranox personally. I will take on the role of courier.
편지에 군대 사령관의 인장을 찍었다. 이제 백작 부인 Umbranox에게 편지를 직접 전달해야 한다. 나는 전령처럼 행동할 것이다.

Countess Umbranox has given me her response. Now I need to deliver it to Hieronymus Lex. The look on his face should be priceless.
백작 부인 Umbranox이 나에게 답변을 주었다. 이제 Hieronymus Lex에게 전달해야 한다. Lex의 표정이 매우 재미있을 것이다.

Hieronymus Lex was shocked to learn he had been reassigned. Now the Thieves Guild will be safe from his persecution. All I have to do is get back to S'krivva to collect my reward.
Hieronymus Lex는 자신이 지정된 것을 듣고 충격을 받았다. 이제 도둑 길드는 그의 박해로부터 안전할 것이다. 내가 할 일은 S'krivva에게 나의 보수를 받는 일이다.

S'krivva thanked me for my help in this delicate matter. Hieronymus Lex will no longer be a threat to the Thieves Guild or the Gray Fox.
