[엘더스크롤 4 : 오블리비언 for PS3] 퀘스트 : Unfriendly Competition [완료]

뒤늦게 오블리비언을 구매하여 플레이하고 있다. (아주 힘들게 구했다...)

이미 PC판으로는 비공식이지만 한글화 패치가 완료되어 한글로 쾌적하게 즐길 수 있지만, 콘솔은 그게 아닌지라...
오블리비언을 플레이하면서 영어 공부를 하고 있다.

어디 물어볼 곳도 마땅치 않고 하여 이곳에 적으니 틀리게 번역된 부분은 제가 배울 수 있도록 가르쳐주시면 감사하겠습니다.

실제 게임을 플레이하면서 저널이 업데이트된 순서대로 적는다.
주로 저널에 등록된 퀘스트의 내용만 적으며 간혹 NPC와의 대화 내용을 추가로 적는다.

Unfriendly Competition [완료]

One of the shopkeepers in the Market District of the Imperial City has informed me of another shop that opened recently. Apparently, this shop's prices are so low it's under cutting all of their sales. They're collectively looking for someone to hire to investigate, as they suspect foul play. I was told to go speak with Jesine at her "Good as New" Merchandise store for more information.
도시 Imperial 안에 있는 상업 구역의 가계 주인 중 하나가 최근 개업한 다른 상점을 나에게 알려주었다. 겉으로 보기에 그 상점은 모든 판매를 경쟁 상점보다 싸게 해서 가격이 매우 낮다. 가계 주인들은 불법적인 상행위를 의심하기 때문에 그것을 조사하기 위해 고용할 누군가를 공동으로 찾는 중이다. 더 많은 정보를 들으러 잡화점 "Good as New"에 있는 Jensine와 이야기하러 가보라는 말을 들었다.

A group calling themselves the Society of Concerned Merchants has hired me to investigate a new store that's just opened up in the Market District with ridiculously low prices. They suspect the owner must be doing something illegal. I should pay a visit to Thoronir at The Copious Coinpurse.
그들이 자칭 걱정하는 의식을 가진 상인들의 모임이라고 부르는 모임 상인 협회에서 최근 터무니없이 낮은 가격으로 장사하는 상업 구역에 새로 개업한 상점을 조사하기 위해서 나를 고용했다. 그들은 상점 주인이 분명히 어떤 불법 행위를 하고 있다고 의심한다. 나는 Copious Coinpurse에 있는 Thoronir에게 가봐야 한다.

"Good as New" 주인 Jesine의 이야기

I'm the chairperson for the Society of Concerned Merchants. We formed this group a while back tㅐ keep a nice fair economic balance in town. Not every store is a member, but we're slowly trying to convince them to join. Everything was fine until Thoronir opened his shop nearby. Selling all sorts of merchandise, he undercuts prices like you wouldn't believe. He doesn't always sell what we sell, but it is still a problem. People who buy tend to want to spend their money there. That leaves one for us. It's getting so bad, a few of us may have to close up shop. He outright refuses to join the Society or even discuss the matter. We are convinced he is up to no good. What we need is for you to case his establishment, and figure out where he gets his inventory. Find some proof of his wrongdoing, and let us know. We cannot do it ourselves, as he recognizes all of us. The job pays a fair bounty in gold when he is brought to justice.

Speaking to Thoronir hasn't revealed any information. Since he's obviously hiding something, I should keep an eye on him, and watch what he does after his shop closes.
Thoronir와 이야기를 했지만 어떤 정보도 알아내지 못했다. 그가 분명히 뭔가 숨기고 있기 때문에 그가 그의 상점을 닫고 나서 무엇을 하는지 기다리고 감시할 것이다.

I've observed a meeting between Thoronir and a mysterious man named Agarmir. Looks like my new target is Agarmir. I should follow him and see where he goes.
Thoronir과 Agarmir라는 이름을 가진 정체불명의 한 남자가 만나는 것을 목격했다. 이제 새로운 감시 대상은 Agarmir인 것 같다. 그를 따라가서 그가 어디로 가는지 봐야 한다.

I've discovered that Agarmir has a house in Talos Plaza. I should go inside when he's not around and investigate.

I've found my way into Agarmir's basement. The place consists of an odd assortment of clothing and trinkets. Most disturbing is the dirty shovel and mud-encrusted boots tucked into the corner and the bits of ground bonemeal strewn about. I suspect Agarmir's stock he sells to Thoronir is taken from the recently dead. I should continue to search carefully for more solid evidence into this grisly accusation.

I've found a manifest that seems to detail names of the recently deceased, what they were buried with and their locations in Cyrodiil. I should take this macabre manifest and confront Thoronir, as he may not realize where his merchandise is coming from.
나는 한 명단을 찾았다. 이 명단에는 최근에 사망한 사람들의 자세한 이름들이 적혀 있는 것 같다. 그들은 Cyrodiil에 매장되어 있었다. 이 명백한 증거를 가지고 Thoronir과 대변해야 한다. 내 생각에 그는 그의 상품이 어디서 오는지 모르고 있을 것이다.

After showing the macabre manifest to Thoronir, he agreed to stop meeting Agarmir. He also told me that Agarmir said he had "something important" to do this very day. I think I need to check out the local graveyard, as the last name on the list was here in Imperial City. I should return with one more piece of evidence of Agarmir's crime to confirm the manifest's contents.
소름끼치는 노트를 Thrornir에게 보여주었더니 그는 Agarmir과 그만 만나는 것에 동의했다. 그는 또한 Agarmir가 중요한 어떤 일을 바로 오늘 한다고 말했다고 나에게 알려주었다. 내 생각에는 이 노트 속에 있는 가문의 이름과 같은 이름으로 된 무덤을 도시 Imperial 안에 있는 묘지에서 찾아볼 필요가 있다. 이 노트의 내용을 확인하기 위해서 Agarmir의 범죄를 증명할 하나 이상의 증거를 찾아서 돌아와야 한다.

I've noticed that the door to the Trentius Family Mausoleum has been unsealed. This must be Agarmir's doing. I should proceed inside.
나는 Trentius 일가의 가족 무덤으로 들어가는 문이 열려 있는 것을 알아챘다. 이건 분명히 Agarmir가 한 짓이다. 안으로 들어가 봐야 한다.

I've located Agarmir inside the Trentius Family Mausoleum. It appears as though he's attempting to desecrate another grave along with someone else I don't recognize. I need to convince him to stop this heinous act.

Agarmir has been slain. Since the penalty for grave robbing is death, it somehow seems as though justice has been done. I should search the gravesite for anything potentially incriminating.

I've acquired Agarmir's shovel still damp with the fresh earth of the open grave. This is the final bit of proof I need of Agarmir's crimes. I should bring it back to Thoronir.
새로 파서 열려 있는 관과 아직도 축축한 Agarmir의 삽을 찾았다. 이것이 내게 필요한 Agarmir의 범죄를 입증할 결정적인 증거다. Thoronir에게 가지고 돌아가야 한다.

Thoronir has agreed to donate all his ill-gotten merchandise to the local temple and begin selling legitimate merchandise. He also rewarded me with a small ring as a token of his esteem. I should now bring the macabre manifest and Agarmir's shovel to Jensine for my reward.
